Deeply disappointed. It’s been (nine) 9 months since my wife and I finalized all paperwork with the firm and we’ve had ZERO results. Nothing. The last straw was that after successfully getting “approval” from them to pause our payments for a few months, we were told by Antonio Mijares that we will no longer be represented by the firm nor will we get any help from them for the duration of the paused payments. Keep in mind we have paid nearly $8,000.00 so far. That was never disclosed to us during our last two in-person meetings with them, one in which we requested the pause.

We hired this attorney to help in my husbands case, my husband is a DACA recipient. Well this attorney used the VAWA petition I-360 which is basically saying that I am abusing my husband and the domestic violence petition, instead of the legal marriage verification petition which is the I-130. The law was unwilling to help us out and hear our concerns. We decided to cancel our case with them, yet still paid them and they are now unable to give us our money back, the mislead us and this was fraud that they committed because they are lying to the UCIS about a petition that is not true. I will be reporting them to the state bar of Texas, and will have Executive Office for Immigration Review to help me with my case, since they didn't want to help me in no way possible. Please be aware and ask what type of petition they are using, cause it can cause trouble in the long run. I went to different attorneys to get others opinions and they are all confused and concerned as to why she was using that petition, when our marriage is real.
